we’ve also got a few proposals live in Arbitrum—including a potential to pay delegates—and NounsDAO. let’s get into it 👇
🤿 deep dive
we're excited to share that Tally is partnering with Open Dollar, a stablecoin protocol on Arbitrum, to launch their DAO! today, they’re kicking off a call for delegates before Open Dollar's $ODG token airdrop. this marks the start of a series of events leading up to their mainnet launch in mid-february.
Open Dollar offers a unique approach to asset management with its Non-Fungible Vaults (NFVs), allowing users to leverage their LSTs for low-interest loans while maintaining their staking yield. the DAO aims for governance minimization—true decentralization achieved when a system operates without the customary bureaucratic layers of decision-making.
for those interested in the $ODG airdrop, check your eligibility here. the airdrop is set to begin on january 17th and will be open for 60 days for those on the list. if you're not on the list this time, there will be more opportunities in the future. ALSO (listen up!!), Open Dollar is calling for delegates! you can register as a delegate for Open Dollar here.
as we approach Open Dollar's mainnet launch, there’s more than just the airdrop to look forward to. there's also an audit with Quantstamp underway and presence planned at ETH denver. in the meantime, you can also dive into Open Dollar’s docs and check out our DAO talk interview with founder joseph schiarrizi where we discuss how Open Dollar works, what governance (and ungovernance) looks like, and their vision for the future of DeFi.
